I have been a working artist since 2000. I received my BFA from the Herron School of Art in Indianapolis and recently a degree from CareerFoundry in UI design and animation. I currently live and work in Portland Oregon but am open to remote opportunities elsewhere.
I am passionate about finding creative solutions to everyday problems whether they are design related or artistic. I feel that the line between the two is very thin and that artistic principles translate into design and have done so historically. I aim to be a part of that dialogue.
The creation of art requires a diverse tool kit. I am just as comfortable with a band saw as I am with a micron pen. I would love to continue learning either in a collaborative environment as I continue to develop as both an artist and a designer. I believe that jobs both big and small deserve the utmost attention and care and will always throw all of myself at the task. For me job satisfaction comes from a well executed solution and the reward of knowledge gained.
